MzM Festival '25
One creative task
Mund zu Mund – küss doch wen du willst. That’s the slogan of an independent music collective from cologne,germany and they really do a great job by organizing events like little music festivals.
In 2025, I had the pleasure to do some layouting stuff for them. So they gave me that one task, to develop a creative poster which can be used to introduce the individual DJs and this is the result. A poster theme based on the topic „Sun, beach and water“
One Design - two variations. It's always good to have more than one version of the design.
As already said, the main topic was good vibes in the sun, hanging out on the beach and enjoy the water. I used this keywords and formed them into shapes and textures, like the noisy sand in the background, organic shapes and the water as graphical elements. I also wanted to create something modern, a little bit artsy – and I also wanted to catch the good vibes of the crew and festival and put them onto the canvas.
I always create more than one version of the design. It’s good for the process and to see, how far you can go with it. In this case, the right version shown here was the winner and it was used on different media.
I really enjoyed this project. It was fun playing around with the shapes to get something like this. =)
